I bought a 1998 Honda Civic manual transmission with a VTEC engine. The owner had already done some stuff - short air intake, but mostly suspension stuff. I stumbled upon VMS and their racing spark plug wires, and figured I’d do a tune up and use them. Then I found the ignition coils and the rest of the system: rotor and cap as well. So I bought all that stuff, but a couple friends said” no, that stuff won’t do much, that’s made for race cars where it’s like the final touch on something that is t even street legal, just that extra boost. So I lost interest and never installed the stuff. My civic had a couple issues, then the door wouldn’t open and it was a difficult problem to fix, so I bought another ‘98 Civic, this time an LX purely stock, but in much better condition - it just looked NEWER. And it was an automatic. Well, all those parts fit my new CIVIC, so I installed them. Whoa!!! What a difference! For one thing, this car lagged some times starting, just a little; not any more! And hands down my car is FASTER. It’s ac
