$ 119.95

The VMS Racing Quick release hub is unique in the marketplace for a variety of reasons. First it is a COMPLETE solution, quick release and hub in one simple piece, no more buying a quick release and then buying a hub to make it work! Second it is VEHICLE SPECIFIC, this one is made specifically for the 96-00 Civic's, so the steering wheel will end up at EXACTLY at the same distance from the driver as the stock steering wheel! No more trying to buy different sized hubs to try and make the steering wheel be in the OE location!

The VMS Racing quick release hub is designed for street and racing applications. It allows the user to remove and replace the factory steering wheel and replace it with an aftermarket steering wheel. The aftermarket steering wheel can be detached from the hub quickly, to deter theft, and allow quick entry and exit to the vehicle. The VMS quick release hubs features a variety of colors and finishes for individualized styling of any vehicle. These also feature a safety push pin to prevent premature unlocking. Made from the highest quality T6061 billet aluminum for maximum durability and usability.

96-00 civic quick release and hub combo

Nice quality for the price and easy install. Bad thing is I had to cut the bolts for the steering wheel because they were to long. Without cutting them I wasn’t able to turn the collar to release the steering wheel. Besides that, I love the setup.

Good Quality!

This hub is built well. It locks nice and tight. A little dielectric grease on the engagement tabs helps the twisting action for locking/unlocking. It went together easily and feels good. This is not your cheap/sloppy ebay hub! I recomend this if you are wanting a quick disconnect option for your 96-00 civic. On a side note, i got the same steering wheel from VMS as the one pictured on this item and because that wheel is a deep dish it does stick out 1"-2" closer to you making the blinker levers further away from the wheel. Not a big deal for me because i like it a little closer but if you want to retain the stock distance you may wanna look at a wheel that's not as deep.
